My parents dog, which is like the family dog kinda, is having some issues. It's suspected IVDD, she's 9, we are hoping she doesn't need surgery but it's not looking great

One of my brother's dogs is allergic to fleas and he got bit by one flea and it was a mess. He now takes monthly flea preventative and gets a monthly allergy shot. It really really helps with his itches.

Oh, wow. That's rough. My dog usually gets a 3 month preventive but the vet being impossible about it this time.
