Summer reading ideas or maybe a BYC book club.

I've recently read The Naturalist by Andrew Mayne (series of 4 books; that's the title of book 1) and enjoyed it very much. Murder mystery genre.

Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn is excellent. I don't know if it would be as good in audiobook form, but that's just me. It's a novel for people who love words, if that makes sense.

It does, thanks. I love to turn pages myself, but don't get as much done. I quit a book recently (Lily and the Octopus) because the way the narrator voiced the dog got on my nerves big time. Decided I would read it myself if i was going to finish it.

This looks fun! I might join after I finish my current series. I’ve been going through all the books I missed out on reading in Highschool so the latest is the Hunger Games. I actually enjoyed it a lot it seems very well written.

I found Ella Minnow Pea on the app. Looks great! Thanks @Sally PB . Not a new one, but have you read Conrack by Pat Conroy? I love all his books. Not just "The Prince of Tides." Low country poetry!
