**Summer Vacation plans** ~Im going to the OBX~

Sounds great we are going on our vacation in 3 weeks. I guess first stop will be in the Carolina's then stop near Chesapeake Bay Va. Then we are heading to Jersey City for a couple days. My daughter wants to see NYC and we found a campground that has a view of The Statue of Liberty. Then on up to Niagra Falls for a day or two. Then coming back around She wants to go to Chicago to the Chicago Museum there. She loves Balto and they have him on display there. I guess the last leg will be to stop in Mammoth Cave Ky before heading home. So this will be the big Family vacation taking the long scenic route hugging the coast line most of the way north.

I might have to invest in a pair of ear plugs my kids are 15 & 9 and fight like cats & dogs sometimes. So 3 weeks in a camper I might have grey hair and come home wearing a straight jacket! lol

We go to Colorado to see friends and camp every summer for a week. Even our adult kids and grandkids still go with us most every year.

We have bee planning for about a year now to take the kids to Yellowstone in August. But now with gas prices and everything else we are thinking about changing our minds and staying here in Minnesota

. We love to take the kids to our national parks and state parks. Guess we will have to find one around here we haven't visited.

If you like odd T-Shirts, my favorite places are Dirty Dick's Crab Shop and Try My Nuts.

If you stop and get a Sunny Day at any of the restaurants, you'll find an ad for Outer Barks. Just give them a call and they will tell you the shopping center. They actually have a Yappy Hour with refreshments. They might even have a website. I'll check later...if mental pause doesn't take over and make me forget.

Yup, you have to shop at Scarborough Lane...there are lots of other places to shop there too....Fish Bones is a nice little place at the Scarborough shops to eat!!...Great crabcakes...And visit Tommys Market for the best Angus Steaks to grill !!....
