Sun or no Sun

I have noticed with my hens that they will only lay if the sun is shining on the laying box. If it is a cloudy day they will not lay but as soon as it's sunny again they lay. Today we got 4 eggs. Is this what happens or are my hens just picky? Thanks

My hens lay whether it is sunny or foggy, which is good, since its foggy more than not! How old are your hens? Have they been laying long?
