Given the populated nature of much of our state we have no rifle season all is shotgun or black powder. Deer population here is very high.

Ours used to be that way (with inclusion of certain handgun rounds). I was not a supporter of including other rifle options for much same reason, safety, overpopulation lack of habitat and dwindling of the deer population. They have retained the “1 buck rule” but not sure that’s such a good thing from a conservation/population management perspective

Enjoying the Vikings game, just went into OT after hauling and stacking two face cords of wood

Well the deer were there this afternoon!!!! I had a buck but couldn’t get a comfortable shot and mr muddy almost had a 2fer! He ended up just getting the biggest of the 2 though.

Not shaping up to be a very Funday Sunday woke up to busted ice maker line
The boys are out now picking up repair stuff and doughnuts for breakfast. I have to get everything cleaned up, process and package the deer, and get everything ready for 2 days at the office and then 2 days of holiday travel and visit with family.

We got the line repaired and I’ve been cleaning and working on laundry but mr muddy pooped out on me opting for a nap in his recliner over the chores left on the honey-do list

We getting ready too , Mrs. S is wrapping presents we bring them each year on our Thanksgiving trip. I'm just screwing with chickens really.
