Sunflower Cottage is almost complete!!

Hubby has worked tirelessly, every weekend since Jan to give our chickens a nice large coop and run. There is just some trim & paint touch up to do. It’s just beautiful & the run gives our girls lots of room to relax in. We also installed solar cameras in their coop and run. It’s nice to be able to check in on them

Tha babies, now 3 1/2 months old are big and one is a roo!! We are looking for a wonderful, loving home for him when he starts to doodle do. We cannot have a rooster where we live .

Nice bright nest boxes. Convenient chicken waterer made from a drink cooler. I've wanted to make one. Very nice coop. Sorry you have to deal with finding a home for your roo.

Fantastic. I just built my first coop and just used the existing lawn patch as a floor. The grass has all been scratched away and it has gotten a bit poopy. I like your approach with sand/gravel. Does the poop rake up reasonably well? Like a cat box???
