I hatch a few hundred of them every year. If you have a gram scale weigh them when you get them I can give you a better idea on hatch time.I have 8 super African dewlaps eggs coming in the mail in a few days!
I’ve incubated chicks before but never geese. Tips and advice from seasoned people would be amazing as I’m nervous haha

This is amazing thank you!! Have been researching like crazy not wanting to mess anything upI hatch a few hundred of them every year. If you have a gram scale weigh them when you get them I can give you a better idea on hatch time.
My whites are still laying a smaller egg around 135-150 grams they hatch around 31 days my Pure-breed Heavyweights lay 170 grams to 210 gram eggs. they hatch in 32-33 days.
I have done a few shipped eggs. In fact have a few coming this year.
If you have done this with shipped chicken eggs the idea is the same.
But dont be in a rush your chicken eggs may settle a little faster over shipping than a big goose egg. Also remember they have allot more liquid in a bigger shell and can take more damage over shipping. So allow at least 24 hours to settle pointy side down undisturbed to settle.
Normally I ship all goose eggs on there side BUT shipped eggs I put pointy end down on the top shelf of my cabinet incubator for at least the first 2 weeks. It turns them 45 degrees left to right. I do this because most of the shipped eggs I have gotten have had a tendency to saddle. Once I know there not going to saddle I hatch on there side.
Depending on where you live and humidity is important. you want them to loose 15% through the hatch. I run mine about 50% Im in a dry climate. but the best is to monitor your air cells.

Totally get it. The hatching eggs I have coming are from a special line. will be overthinking them because they are shipped. The rest are from my flock so know what to expect. I know what to expect from mine. feel free to ask questions as needed. Will try to help. This is amazing thank you!! Have been researching like crazy not wanting to mess anything up
