Super African dewlap incubation

All eggs weigh 207-220 grams with the exception of one being 184
How is the hatching, Mine came on Friday set them Saturday morning. Did a quick candle and fertility looks high didnt want to leave them on there side to do a good candle since a few airs sacks are not stable yet and have a slight saddle. Have allot of my own eggs but these are a little special they have white african genetics.

I actually just pulled mine out of the incubator to weight candle and mist and then was gonna jump on here and do an update😅 today is day 7!
They all lost a gram or two more than they should have this week so I will be upping my humidity it’s currently running 45-50 most days gonna try 55-60 this week and see how much weight they lose.
Stability wise 4/6 look really good. I’m worried about 1 egg in particular but we will see what happens
In parentheses is what they lost. The number beside that is what they should have lost

sounds like your doing good. My fresh from the nest eggs loose more weight in there last 2 weeks not that much the first 2. So a little more humidity wouldn't hurt. Shipped eggs usually loose moisture in shipping also. sounds like Im only 2 days behind you.

Day 11 I’m not seeing any veins or anything inside these eggs getting super worried 😭

My fresh eggs from my flock usually show on day 5 so it did take them a little longer. I would contact the person you got them from if you can. you can also message me.

I’m gonna use a different flashlight to candle them tomorrow and see if they look any different. I’ve been mostly looking at the ends and not the side so maybe that could be it. I know the last I got them from put some in her incubator as well I’ll have to see how hers are progressing. Either way I’ll let them go a little longer as long as there’s no nasty smells coming from nowhere and see what happens 😅

Sounds like a plan. Flashlights are hard to use if you can make a foil cone around the head that will concentrate the light to a beam it will help. Make sure your in a dark room and concentrate the light into the air cell let the egg rest on its side for a few min first.

Here we are back with the day 14 check
This is basically what they all look like. These are three different eggs
And then weight loss for last week vs this week.
I texted the lady I got them from she said if none end up hatching she’ll be happy to send me more. She has eggs from the same timeframe from the same geese that are developing so we knew fertilization was there
When she shipped them to me she shipped them on a Monday but they didn’t get here until the following Monday could that be the cause of failure (it said Wednesday but for some reason it took very long time will pay for much better shipping next time)
