Super big lump right next to chick's eye! Please help! Is getting bigger by the day! :(

I have the same thing going on with my silkie rooster. My vet had me give our a medication he gave us or box 22.7mg. He has had for 1 week. Thought he was doing better but now seems as thou the swelling has moved down as well by his jaw!!

UPDATE: The chick (now pullet) has been doing very well and her bump has never been pecked at or burst open. After my last post on this thread, we gave the pullet some antibiotics and the bump actually started to decrease in size, but never left. It seems to have become a visible scar and does not affect her sight, eating or drinking. I have never figured out the cause of the bump; maybe a genetic defect? She was the runt of the chicks and it took her a long time to start growing as large as her flockmates.
