I didn't have any hatch from the 2 dozen eggs I received, but Danny is working with me to replace the SPRs since none of them even started to develop. I was disappointed overall, but I'm not throwing in the towel, either.

I called about my order and they are also having trouble with Speckled Sussex - I won't get any of those.

OK this topic is too long to go through so i will just ask. What about there Malay? Im embarrassed to buy from a hatchery, but its just so easy haha.

I haven't heard anything about my order, which was due in early April. :-( Need to call again, I guess.

I am afraid there will be many orders that will not be received and you will have to ask for your refund. The bad part about that is you will be in for a long wait to get your money. If you are thinking you will not get your chicks you should ask for your refund now as I have heard of a lot of orders not being received. I do believe the refund line will be long and I hope you will not have to go threw all the trouble I did to get my refund.

I have 6 maybes that have made it to day 18 today out of 24 eggs for the second shipment, I'm sure they may have been fertile at one point but 18 were clear and I had no blood rings, first time was 24 eggs, I set 19 scrambled ones and one lone chick hatched to die on me within an hour. Fingers crossed. These are Black Orpingtons!!

1 lone chick hatched out of the 6 that went to the bator. That tells me all I need to know. So 2 chicks from 48 eggs!! and 1 of those died within an hour,

Wow, Sandy that's just horrible. I know if anyone could have hatched them it would be you. I'm glad they were sold out when I called.
