I am incubating 4 supermarket eggs from Whole Foods. I will be updating and updating a lot! Since I posted this late, it is day 3 and the eggs yolk are a bit dark. I have brown and white eggs, the brown eggs are very hard to see through while the white eggs are easy to see through. I will be updating!!

Except Trader Joe's most supermarket eggs are infertile because there has never been a rooster with them.

Update. My wife told me Whole Foods sells fertilized eggs as well. Guess the package says 'fertilized on it'?

Sure if they are fresh and fertile, Some are, Most are not---most "hen" houses do not want roosters in their flock and ALOT of egg buyers do not want fertile eggs. But as I can tell from your post---You want to PLAY. I personally would go get some farm fresh eggs from the man down the road, that has the roosters with his hens---you will stand a lot better chance.

Thanks guys, im just doing for fun and as an experiment! But if it does hatch, that'd be nice!
