Noooo I didn’t want a broody duck
I have 4 schools hatching a week apart
One has its own bator
The rest are using mine
I won’t have a rescue bator if she stops

Are you going to let her? I vote let Nugget brood!

You should have a chat with her either way, talk about the parental responsibilities in these actions, remind her the nights out on the pond she'll be missing out on...

If the eggs are warmed up I’ll let her keep them
There is only 2-3 under her
I can see the rest in the corners
I’ll mark those eggs and remove any that get laid in after
She isn’t getting a big nest Fuji
But I won’t be able to help if she leaves them at any point and time as my bators will be tied up elsewhere
So this will be a nature run it’s course
Funny I was scared to put my hand in there to check them
She isn’t like daisy
She didn’t even move a muscle Or say a word
I had to video her to see if she was even breathing

I'm yet to see what Dougie would truly be like, but when she went broody last time she wasn't aggressive towards me- just made sad squeaks when I removed her eggs

I guess I’ll find out later if she is still in there I’ll check
If I don’t respond within 30 mins after I go in send help my broody will have my hostage

Just illness
I see my niece frequently and she's constantly giving us bugs lol.
And usually she's better within a day!

Last year we got covid, followed a couple weeks later by flu. Then another bug right after
My immune systems needs help lol

My immune systems needs help lol

Take vitamin D and C
Then later in the evening take zinc
Zinc helps boost the immune system but if taken with other vitamins it will make you feel sick
I take 10,000 unit of D daily
Start taking them regular and you will notice you will get sick less often and not near as bad
