Wow! Looks like my buff duck from 2 years ago when he first started feathering out. How was the mom a wild mallard?

Do you have any pictures of him as an adult? I'm very curious now

I couldn't let mine out at all until fully feathered because it was too cold. I wish I'd have been able to let them out earlier!
