So we are getting really bad storms and i ran out of duckling feed. Would it be ok, to put all flock in if i ground it up? They are only 5 weeks i cant get to the store till tomorrow.

It was a pretty good setup, hardware clothed everywhere, had half of a roof and two sides of a 5'x5' area is a plastic siding. One of the only problems was just that the one side didn't have hardware cloth - it was chicken wire from the outside mesh for my run (the enclosure is inside the duck run.), and a snake must've gotten in through there.
I stop using starter feed by 3 weeks and just do a grower / finisherSo we are getting really bad storms and i ran out of duckling feed. Would it be ok, to put all flock in if i ground it up? They are only 5 weeks i cant get to the store till tomorrow.
They probably have enough food for a few hours but its lightning, raining super hard and apparently there is a tornado watch.I stop using starter feed by 3 weeks and just do a grower / finisher
I’m sure it would be fine
But maybe wait for other replies as I use chicken feed not duck feed for my ducks
I hope it warms up for you. It had been in the 80s all of last week now its cold and snowing/raining. And we are under tornado warningsSo frustrated.
Been plus 15-20 for over a week. Snow had finally melted
Today brings my mood down
Woke up and before I could even let my ducks out temp was cold and snowing again
My poor ducks just can’t catch a break
Suppose to be like this for 3 days including snowing for 2 of them
Temps hitting -15 again !!

Thank you! Also stay safe. Im sorry that your ducks havent had luck. I hope tjey get better. I brought mine in then took them back out now i may need to bring them in again....Thank you and Stay safe
I’ll be staying indoors
I have 2 girls that were soaking wet
One that has dirt so her oils won’t stick. a bath in dawn dish soap should fix her wet feather
The other has had a fungal infection and on meds. She has had wet feather since January
I have brought them inside as it’s to cold to be wet
