Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

We have been blessed. It was 72 here today and will be 78 tomorrow but then this weekend will be colder with a chance of snow flurries. I have two Mallard sisters sharing one nest but they will be fine as they never leave it and take turns sitting. Next week will be colder but they have only been sitting for one week now so it will be May before anything might happen. So sorry your weather is so crappy. We have been Blessed this winter with hardly any snow at all.

I'm sure it would be fine
When I ran out of food, my girls had eggs, oats, peas, calci worms, tuna, etc. Whatever I had to hand, to get them through a couple days, and they were okay

Hope you and your flock stay safe!!
I was able to quickly run to the store as the storms let up, but now its raining again... Thank you!

I stopped getting notifications again

Same here (plus I was gone/busy)
@Corbdee
I’m not sure why it tagged your post as well
I think I meant to reply to you yesterday then got distracted so it was still set on reply
Lol no problem. I have 4 ducklings now, all from the incubator. All finished with eggs now, incubator is off. I'm gonna try getting a mama to go broody again in about 4 weeks. You think the one that will be raising my ducklings can go from that to sitting again? She was so dedicated.
So frustrated.
Been plus 15-20 for over a week. Snow had finally melted
Today brings my mood down
Woke up and before I could even let my ducks out temp was cold and snowing again
My poor ducks just can’t catch a break
Suppose to be like this for 3 days including snowing for 2 of them
Temps hitting -15 again !!
Awww man, I'm sorry that bites! Hopefully it goes down within the week.
I hope it warms up for you. It had been in the 80s all of last week now its cold and snowing/raining. And we are under tornado warnings
WOW! That's all over the board! How are things now?

Its about 35 degrees this morning. We had rain last night, tornadoes skipped us(as they have for 9 years, which i am happy about). We always get super high winds, when we are on a tornado watch. I sure hope it warms up.

The 2 Welsh Harlequins i will be getting should finally be in tomorrow! After being told a million different dates they would be in by. And turns out the lady didnt order them right. I wont be going back and having her order them.
Oh my goodness that's exciting!!! They're such beautiful ducks!
