My bet is on Piper stealing them. If she can kick zinnia off the nest I imagine it wouldn't be a stretch for her to take charge of the goslings.I just want to know what happens when they hatch, lol
If they come in. They have till 10 a.m to call and its 9:36.Oh my goodness that's exciting!!! They're such beautiful ducks!
They didnt call, so i called. And apparently the post office didnt recieve any ducks or chickens. I was very upset, as i have been waiting since Feburary 15th, then told they would be in March 17th and every week after until April 1st when i was told they would be in April 21st. I told her to cancel my order, i found someone who is selling a few 1 week old Welsh Harlequins.
I know I read on here that some hatcheries refused to ship because of strange weather conditions. They knew the chicks would not survive and did not want to have to replace all of them. I am just glad that they were able to find some online to replace them. Sounds like a better deal. I have gotten them all the way from California to where I am in Ohio and they were just fine and still are 3 years later but it was in June that I ordered.Did you order them from a hatchery?
I ordered them through our local Farm and Fleet who orders them throught Cackle Hatchery.Did you order them from a hatchery?
Wow, that is strange that they messed it up that badly. I have ordered online though Metzer and gotten mine just fine. Our TSC said you have to buy 6 now and Metzer will let you buy only 2 which is what I wanted. So glad that you found some online and will be able to get them yourself.I ordered them through our local Farm and Fleet who orders them throught Cackle Hatchery.
