Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

Sitting guard over my ducks for the last 2 hours of the day light: There was a fox in the garden this time yesterday. My puppy wouldn't cooperate with being the look out and guard -- I had put her on a tie out placed to keep the ducks up by my rear porch. So I am now on fox look out
You should borrow my husky mix.
She was screaming ALL evening because she could see foxes in the garden.
Hates them with immense passion.

We have coyotes not far from us but none have ever came in our yard that I know of. I have seen both red and gray fox not far from where I live but with all of the building nowadays it has been a while since I have spotted any. I hope that your flocks stay safe from them.

Their enclosure is fox proof so I don't worry too much
All Mr fox has ever done, is take a big poop next to their coop, clearly frustrated at not being able to get in 😂

I have a beagle. She would love to "play" with my ducks, but the ducks are terrified of her. However, when she is on the tie out, the ducks come right up to within 6 inches of where she can reach and torment her by quacking and huffing at her. When she and I are in the rear porch, the ducks come right up to the screens and quack and huff very loudly at her. Meanie ducks!
The ducks are smart🤣🤣🤣🤣.

We have coyotes super close. We live on a main road, so if you go across the street to our neighbors house, right behind their house a cow pasture and coyotes have came through our yard before. If we go outside of town there usally is red fox at this time of year, but i havent seen them yet

Where we are staying is urban: we are only 6 miles from The White House. There are red foxes, raccoons and opossums.. The fox coming during the day is the problem as there is no run just a well fenced back garden . My boys are safe at night in the shed but I cannot keep them in there during the day as there isn't enough space and very little day light.

I'm going to get two temporary dog pens so that I can corral the ducks right by the screened porch. I had hoped to borrow at least one but no one has a spare.
