Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

I did end up removing the egg into a makeshift incubator.
The duckling seemed quite vigorous the day before yesterday when I noticed the crack, but yesterday there was minimal sluggish movement, it internally pipped despite that yesterday. I decided to make a very small air hole because I was worried about the lack of movement and at 3 am this morning there was no movement. As of now 4 hours later there’s still no movement and it looks like some yolk has spilled into the air cell. Ducks are hard.

What do you all feed your dictators.. opps i mean ducks?
I have had them on all flock since 7 weeks. But im switching my chickens back to layer feed, as the all flock isnt enough even adding in supplements and some scraps. I always feed back the eggs shells.
So im going to switch the ducks to a duck food. I had them on Kalmbach but i actually found out its more expensive then Purina and Dumor.

We fed both the chickens and ducks Dumor laying pellets/crumbles until we found a local store that sells duck and chicken feed milled in this state.

I said I would, and so I shall, I have created a safe space for duck keepers!
I know how hard it can be, none of your non poultry friends would understand- the struggle of keeping ducks.

Ducks can be very rude and disrespectful creatures. Full of sass, full of wrath.
So welcome to the place where you can rant, and receive support!

Mine are fed Purina flock raiser with supplemental oystershell and a lot of leafy green snacks.

Has anyone ever heard a female duck whistle? I have two 5 week old Runner Ducklings. When they were in the house I heard one of them whistle for sure so I knew it was a boy. Now they are both making a somewhat quacking sound but not real loud. Sorry I can't do pictures or sound on here, I am not that savvy. Thanks for any information you may have on them.
