FYI, Vegetarian means NO animal flesh. If it has a heart, it's an animal.

I've been a vegetarian my entire life so I'm very well versed in the matter.

Chickens are Omnivores. A.K.A they eat bugs, larvae, other meats but more plants than meats.
I thought you said before that you enjoy eating eggs? Especially quail eggs.

Actually this reminds me.

Way back when I was in my teens (MANY years ago) we had a neighbor who owned a big black lab that they never let in the house. Poor thing was thin and cold and lonely and locked in a tiny run.

One bad winter the city was coated in ice for days and we were hanging ham fat in the trees for the wild birds. The dog was still locked in the tiny run outside eating nothing but dry dog food. We felt so sorry for him that we started giving him bread fried in leftover bacon fat. He was pathetically grateful.

I thought for food to be vegan, vegetarian, or fruititarian, they had to either be plants or come from plants. I didn't know that fish, cheese, eggs, milk or anything else non-plant derived meet the definition.
I learn something new every day. :woot
