I have not updated this thread in a while.

My father discovered that one of his chickens is actually a turkey. From looking at the Cackle Hatchery website, it looks like a Bronze Broad Breasted Turkey. Surprise again.

He put the ducks and the turkey in a separate brooder because they were running over the chicks.

They will be three weeks old on Wednesday. My father said he will soon start putting them in a pen during the day.

My father still has not mailed pictures.

I suppose the turkey and ducks can come out of the brooder at the same time as the chicks.

I guess my father has a turkey for next Thanksgiving.
