It WILL NOT snow in the banana belt until the first part of December. It has been declared - by me! and then it will dump about 18".

Judy is doing ok, Still sick but moving some. She rode with me to Monticello last night. I went to Runnings and got a squirrel trap. I was in the stor about 5 minutes so she was gone from home maybe 35-40 minutes. The most she has been out in a while. She made the trip with no accidents so we considered it a win.

I use to have my forums show up with the unread ones first ( the ones with new posts on them), now they are all intermixed. A new unread post may be two or three pages back, it is a PITA. Can you tell me what I need to change to get it the old way?









BTW when you are over 60 tech support is anyone under 30...

How in the world do kids at a school dance "twerk"?  DO they not have chaperones that would stop that before it started?   Miley Cyrus is bad for America, I knew it, this proves it.

They have chaperones but they usually fall asleep My parents must not trust me cuz they didn't want me to go but they caved. Idek why they don't trust me cuz I'm not bad

We brought home the camper and boat from the lake today. I also painted the new coop door which will be set in later today or tomorrow. Getting our Aug. chicks ready to move in closer to the main flock to start assimilating and getting to know each other. I am going to have to figure out which roosters to keep out of them. I had better read up on the SOP of each breed to figure that out but I think I have to let them grow another couple months first. Our 9 baby chicks are doing well and feathers are starting to grow in. Can't wait to see what kind of mixed coloring they will have.


How old is a chicken when you consider it to just be a soup chicken?

It's probably because the chaperones are those kids parents! I have never twerked and never will. I think its stupid and a violation to someone's body..

How old is a chicken when you consider it to just be a soup chicken?

Any useless roosters and a hen over a year and a half to 2 years, unless they are good broodies, usually they make the money they eat in a batch or 2 of chicks

Ok because we will be culling our flock for useless roosters who were hatched this Spring. Just wanted to be sure they would still be good eating roasted and not too tough.
