Surviving Minnesota!

Morning Peeps.

Minnesotanice, I hear you on the work being over rated, I always take 2 weeks off at this time and always have a hard time going back. I don't know if they would get me back after 4 months off, lol too bad I need the money!

I Love Layers, your place sounds great! I wonder if you hit your knee on something being drug behind the snowmobile?

I need a hobby farm with many out buildings. That is my goal for someday, just have to talk my DH into my dream, lol...

Ralph....mottled are gorgeous! You cant retire JJ! The potential is endless. Plus he's such a nice tom...great temperament!

Nope only my ribs did I hit anything. I did mess it up last year after falling on ice, it was swollen for about 2 months after that. Hopefully I'll get it checked out before track

It was hard going back, but I don't know if staying at home is for me. I did, however, appreciate having the extra time off with the little one. A work routine is important for me. I shopped online too much at home and drove DH nuts re-organizing everything! Surprisingly, I only ended up with 5 new chickens and 3 ducks! I feel that's impressive restraint.

Porter's has a mottled chocolate that pretty cool looking. I like the black, too. I figure I'll start out with a few different variety's and roll from there. What do you all have?

Actually I'm hoping to take over my grandparents. Most people have told me that they think I will take it over but we'll see. Right now my uncle owns most of it. He is single and doesn't have kids so I'll have to work with him

My Bathroom is pretty much done down stairs except for trim work on one wall!
gig.gif

Which is dependent upon and cannot be done until the door is trimmed out. When they shimmed the door they put in pieces of tongue/groove which stick out partially and I cannot flush it out without sawz-alling part of the shimming. Argh... DH looked at it and he's not quite sure what to do about it. It will be a day of just fiddle-farting with the boards to make it flush before I can finish the trim. I will figure it out--screw something up I'm sure-- and then spend more time fixing. IDK....

And then there will be the rest of the basement...which essentially is a rec-room/bar area to finish. It is plumbed to have a bar sink...so it will not be a cheap room either. That bathroom even though piece-mealed together by yours truly ended up being a spendy little project. But this is what I did instead of arts and crafts this summer...so instead of buying hobby supplies I bought building supplies. Probably a wash. Hahaha.
