What happens to us small backyard chicken growers if bird flu travels here? Seriously. It is spread through other birds right? DO NOT Feed the wild birds! Educate me you smarties.

Ralphie I am glad to hear the cats are doing good! GC sounds like the perfect cat IMHO lol! Believe me it's easy to get sick of them when you're trying to cut something or move something and they are constantly climbing on you or getting in your way!

Dux spread it, is what they taught us at the NPIP school...BUT I an not sure I buy that. However, it is a good reason to execute all dux....

Hey Cluckies....that avian flu out break was in east TN. About a 6-7 hour drive from here. From what I understand it does spread by migrating ducks. Not in a flight path here. Not sure if I should be worried or not...
