Oh, that hurts!

I am having trouble seeing you drag a few large beaver.    Or do you just carry the baby beaver?:gig

for those of you that have never seen her, she is small,  really really small.

Back now. Just one beaver out of the two traps he has set and set another one. It was about 25 lbs. I make him carry the dead animals. I carry the tool bag. The tool bag is probably heavier though! LOL Yes I am not a big person. But I do have that magic power of being able to control large number of children at any given time. I like to think I inspire some of them to do better also! Never underestimate the small ones!

Now onto chickens.

I can't drink beer so could you make sure there are some juice boxes or something? Or I could get all crazy and drink a pop

Oh man, not the pop!

Okay. I have to say out of all the ducks I've seen on here....Those Khaki CAmpbells would be the ones I'd get....The Muscovies with their weird red faces aren't that attractive to me. IDK... But It's not going to happen. I don't want to deal with Water in the Winter for those Wet-pooped beasts.

Khaki's are great layers, so that always helps. I didn't like Muscovys for a long time and those ugly red boger faces won me over. I want to get a crested duck just because that poofy fluff on their head makes my day a little bit better =)

Some guy had ordered 50 chicks in September and the hatchery sent 100. I am often in runnings and the women that work in the farm area and I laugh and chatter together. So I respectfully declined because of the time of year but . . . . . . they kept asking. Said they did not want just anyone to take them because some people will put them on a hook and use them for fish bait. Well, that did it for me. They did get rid of the extra 50 to people that stop in regularly. We did not know they were Gold Comets until later. What a great hatchery mistake.

I'd like to try Gold Comets in my flock. I might try to locate a few next year. Are they nice?
