Good Morning Chickeners . . . . My heart hurts for you Erlibrd. It is difficult loosing a parent even if they are in a better place. I am an orphan, which comes with living long enough to grow older. My prayer for you is that you find comfort during this process of grieving. Those of us that have been through it understand.

Hello Holm - so being that your dog was already spayed - not having to have her spayed recovered some of your adoption fees right? so therefore she was a good investment. What is her name again and how is she working out, adjusting, etc.?

Bantiesrule - beautiful birds and cute chicks.

Siggie - how is your brooding going? I must have missed the end results of the hatch and what is currently happening.

Congrats ILL on the high jump mark. I just do not know much about track to say anything however you sounded excited so it must be a big deal.

Have a great day Chickeners . . . .

Oh! and LOL - I am right back where I started from last week on downsizing my flock. My kids backed out and the person that would have taken all of them wanted all of them. Not letting me keep a few.

So I am sending some to the butcher - been separating them into a different coop and really developing an attitude of your out of here. I have separated a different two into the hospital coop - the BO's - to find out who is laying. They are only a year old so both should be laying. One of them is a feather picker. Tired of feather pickers. Tired of anyone who can't behave. Watching . . . . watching . . . . watching.

Starting to get a respectable amount of eggs each day. Better step up to the plate egg layers. Soon!
