Well everyone I added to my flock... There was Silkies from Destinys line at the auction and I bought all of them... Very nice birds so far. Really like them... Got to meet the guy that hatched them... Very nice guy.

Also got a Buckeye Cockerel from MNchickmom. He sure is turning into a friendly little guy

Good Morning all.....I stumbled back onto the test version of the site. I had a great time at the Amish Auction in Wadena this past weekend. My kids and husband thought the same. I came home with fine jams, jellies, some hot peppers, my husband came home with a new door for my coop and I may or may not have come home with another box of chicks. Hubby was bidding on an Amish built coop with chickens inside. But he chickened out and let it go to someone else......Now that I saw it, I will have him build me one. That will teach him to stop bidding on something chicken related the day before Mother's Day!

Ralphie met with me today to deliver a PC rooster and a trio of Appenzeller Spitzhaubens.
I really appreciate it Ralphie and happy to report all are nicely settled to their new quarters. The PC rooster thinks he has died and gone to chicken heaven, as their is a big flock of ladies and no other rooster to compete with.
The Spitzhaubens remind me of McGraws which I used to have, except the McGraws laid a blue egg.
