Surviving Minnesota!

Got a fence around the green beans yesterday . They are just breaking through the soil . Ralphie I bet you have coons . Time to use the dog proof traps . When you have 15 coons (like I did ) testing Fort Knox every night they will find a way to break in .

I just googled it. Low carbs, high fat. Right now my stomach is wanting food! But want to weigh myself first.
I like the South Beach diet. Because I know I need the veggies. Im also in love with Mediterranean style foods. Olives cucumbers tomatoes nuts cheeses fishs which I think fits in with that.

Already working. Usually it takes a day or two. Must have needed to do this. Cluckies: I've been picking up info on this keto fasting used to help combat cancer. ( for friends) basically the premise is that cancer cells don't metabolize or work well without sugars. So good for cancer fighting and weight loss too! I see they call it the Scandinavian diet. Sounds good to me!
Forgive me all. Diets fascinate me.

We had a cell go through last night. I didn't hear a thing but leaves and branches on the roads. All wet. Dust is down. Not as much humidity today.

Nah, blabber away. If we all only said what we thought was interesting it'd be mighty boring.

Hello everyone... Sad to report that the heat has claimed my big Orp rooster.... I feel terrible... But he had lots of cool water in the coop and outside and ALOT of shade. It was just too dang hot and humid:hit

Scrubbed waterers and stuff this morning... Going to clean pens later. They were cleaned two days ago do they aren't hardly dirty but I don't want my Silkies to get dirty foot feathers...

Dr. Lindemann is on his way out for a fun filled day of bird testing. Already hot and humid so hopefully he isn't too late lol. We scheduled this for 9 am so he should be here any minute I would think... I have been dreading this day... Wish me luck everyone :fl

This is why I do not understand the fad for English Orpingtons . The American type are less fluffy but can have heat problems . The English type are way too fluffy . Kind of why Australop were created .

My fetish with the Buff Orpington is due to their laid back relaxed could care less attitude. I have a pair of BO pullets that are being shown by a 7 year old. She walks up to them and puts both of them under arms like no body's business. Between the genetics and the treat training...these birds are a wonderful pet.
