Remembering back a few days when BC said she was cutting the cord.

We did it today Dish TV does not make it easy to quit.

When they finally realize you will not give in and stay with them, they start the cancellation process. Then the charge 12 buck a box for every box they send you to return the equipment in.

For us it was $36 dollars ...Oh and the $480 credit they told us we had when they were trying to stop us from leaving cannot be applied towards "equipment return".......

Or we could pay the Dish guy that drives buy daily $50 to stop and pick it up.

Then at the end they hit us with another "termination" fee...

I am thinking of running a chicken service based on their methods.

Break down of chick fees:

Insemination fee ------- $2
Egg nest rental fee ---- $1
Egg transportation fee--- $2
Egg temporary home rental--- 50 cents a day
Egg bath and massage -------$1
Bath water disposal $1
Incubation fee------ $4
Manually turning the eggs 6 times daily- $3
Incubation termination fee----$2
rental area cleaning fee---$1
Hatching rack space rental $1
Used egg shell disposal fee--$3
Post hatch rest and relaxation treatment $3
Brooding area- $3
Waiter fees for food and drink --$2
gratuities 10% -- $2.80
Chick preparation and and set up ---$5
Delivery charges will be calculated later

Total charges without delivery fee or new chick charges $36.30

New chick costs based on breed from $3-50
Carbon offset fees $5
energy consumption fee $6
Correct sex insurance $12 (optional)
replacement insurance on chick in case of kid induced death $3-50 depending on breed. ( a one time replacement is all...)

Your new chick is

$3 ---$50 Enjoy..applicable fees will be applied.... delivery cartons fees not included

Thanks, and you are so right on you pay later for the fun you have now as a kid (kid defined as anyone under 45)...

Ivie and discussed the way things really start fall apart after 60.

tfred... They should lay soon the combs should be getting red they will lay within a week to 10 days of the bright red.
I'm 36 and seems like I've gone to heck. Golfed today for first time this year. I'll be sore tomorrow.

Combs getting redder by the day. Started transition to layer deed. I'll be gone all next week, so will likely miss first egg. Bummer. Odds are nil that it's laid in nesting box. I've been boarding it off in the afternoon and removing board in morning. The 5 were piling into one box all night. Still not using roosts.

I guess I'm living the chicken dream now.

If I've gathered correctly from context, Toads are mixed breed mutt, right?
Mutts are mutts,,,,toads are carefully chosen and bred for certain traits....
They are a breed which was carefully designed.
I am going to finish the SOP soon...I expect toads to be the first breed to have the certification process waived and be begged by the APA to join them.

Serious question. .how did you come up with the idea for toads? Did you start it yourself or are they a known breed? I've never heard of them till now. . . but I never heard of so many different breeds until now anyway lol.

I feel like tongue may be planted firmly in cheek here, but I'll bite. What is the lineage behind toads?
