I know trimming helped with the PC problem but they look naked when done.

I have decided to help a friend run for US Senate so I have to try and pack that into my schedule somewhere, and Judy wants us to go to Togo for Labor Day She wants to be there 5 days, not sure how I will manage that. Pretty sure if I don't it will be a long winter.

Time to move babies today. I hope they enjoy their new digs.

Good morning chickeners . . . . its a gorgeous day. Already cleaned the big coop. Need to wash down the inside of the enclosed portion. I need to replace that little box but while cleaning, decided that the little coop construction is enough for me this year. Going to prepare a space in the large coop to introduce the GLW to the flock. Next week I will move the eight birds to the neighbor. I have to help her set up a separate area to introduce the new hens.

Then she will use it for the cockerels after the hens come out of it. So another busy week next week. Along with some coop improvements (feeders, waterers etc.) I don't mind being this busy actually. I just do not clean the house or cook any meals. But that worked this week because the DH was putting in the septic and mound up in Aitkin.

Jerry, you should get plenty of rest so you are ready for work when you return to the North Country. Did you leave the lumber stacked nicely and is BC looking after it ? What type of project did you have going on with the chicks which BC baby sat ?

Morning, we had a storm go through yesterday afternoon I wasn't home at the time but visitiinng a friend just a few miles away and they got half an inch of rain a bit of thunder.
DH was home and said some hail quarter size but mainly smaller. 2 1/2 inches of rain really quick and my garden has hail damage

Good morning, all.

I had hoped to take a couple of kids fishing this morning. They needed to pick up the basement first. I told them that before they could do ANYTHING that needed to be done. That was at 6:15. It's now 11:22. They haven't started. It's beautiful out.

The 6 y/o has once again informed me that I'm the worst dad ever because I don't care if they go outside and get exercise.

So here I am with a cup of coffee sitting on a log.

The very best you can hope for is to share the title of worst Dad ever. I was given that award many times by my kids when they were young. Now that they are parents, I should see if I still have the title or they revoked it. It will be a few days before I will know if the title is revoked or not.

Because the best Daughter ever is with her family at their cabin today and leaves for 4-5 days of work in Texas somewhere and she is too busy to talk when working at another office...Worst Dad at least directed her well enough she has High Fluting job.....
