Surviving Minnesota!

It could be possible for them to find a dead carcass of something killed and partially eaten by a predator, especially with all the damage I took from fur bearing critters early on this year.
That is what I was thinking. My birds could be chowing down on a dead deer somewhere in the woods and I'd never know.

DS driving back from dh's birthday restaurant last night swirved quickly on the dark road last night. A big Timby.

Eating weekend deer carcasses no doubt. Saw more Friday night smears as we drove home too. Weekenders...

Remind me to never visit you on a weekend...

That would make sense had one of my free ranging birds gotten ill, they did not...OF course, free ranging is a poor name for my free rangers...

Their range is the garden, bird feeder, front yard, my Mom's yard and the driveway....To actually go into the woods would be scary for them. They live under the lilac bush in the yard 95% of the time, and run to us for food everytime we exit the house. It is like swarming bees at our feet....lazy bums!

Hmm, odd....

My birds go all over. Woods, neighbour's house, backyard, front yard---I'm surprised they haven't gotten to the stream yet.
