Surviving Minnesota!

I'm Two Black Ameraucana Cockerels lighter. Jerryse and DW of Jerry and cute chihuahua Sammy took those boys. Probably heading out any time.
I have 9 on the roost to count every night and two eagle-snack sized pullets in my garage yet. 11. It's better than 17. I have an extra Welsummer Cockerel. Nice Nice boy. No behaviors on this one.
I know I'm peddling snowballs to eskimos....Just checking if any of you are looking for a Hunk of Man-Bird Gorgeousness.

This is Junior but the Cockerel is feathering in just like this one. Nice and blocky.

It was sunny out there and now I see a band of rain coming through this afternoon.
Running around for work and such. No rest for the wicked.

Lvie thank you for asking about Dad. He is feeling a bit tired lately. He is weaning off of steroids right now...and I don't think that is the funnest thing to do. However he is really getting his wheels back and looks good, overall and for what he's been through. He'll have cyberknife radiation for the last small tumor hopefully in the next few weeks. PET Scan on Thursday. Fingers crossed nothing else lights up.
He is grumpy old man currently and it does not bid well for a nagging daughter who wants him to eat better and try an orange instead of chocolate ice cream for dessert. (VIT C=cancer killing) But what do I know.
And for that grumpiness I feel bad for my Mom having to put up with his crap. LOL. But I guess he's still with us crapping and we'll take what we can get. :lau :fl

TFred. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Those birds!!! It really pays to do your research at the onset of this hobby and boy did you skip ahead to the good stuff for a beginner. My goodness.:love:thumbsup
Lol. I'd love to take credit. I just wanted to start with quality genetics. I'm quickly learning that there are some excellent quality options right here on this thread.

You were smart to inquire about breeds. When I started out on this site I was focused on the coop and thought a mixed flock of whatever from L & M would do. Severe comb dubbing, hen-plumbing issues made the first two years pretty humbling and educational. You made the first steps the right ones here, for you and your set up. :highfive:
