Full molt on and I’ve got an egg layer. I found the littles in a nest in the broody coop setting on this treasure trove of olive eggs. I think it’s the ex-broody, Miss Kitty. But she looks like h-e—double hockey sticks. Hardly a feather that hasn’t fallen off that bird and a short regrowth coming out of the quills! I’ll have to pay closer attention as I’ve been away a lot. And I guess I better dig out the layer feed again!

I have to copy and paste from a writing program if I want proper en and em dashes vs the technically illegal multiple hyphens.
