One of the problems we will both have is I sold too many of these chicks to others that plan to show them. That problem is being rectified next year. I will not be selling chicks to just anyone.

I plan to sell started birds instead or eating them so I have the best to pick from myself. The exception will be 4H kids and a few friends that just want good birds for their yards.

I have 2 indoor breeding pens set up and occupied now. Hobbles is in heaven, he spent the entire afternoon fighting with Ed through the wire. Ed seemed to enjoy it too. I feel sorry for Ed, he will never leave here as he is too cool,but he will not be getting a chance to actually breed this year.

Unless someone wants PC chicks I could breed him to some lesser quality hens for sale!!! Genius Idea there!

Hobbles is happy, he gets to fight through a fence and his lack of feet is not a hindrance. He can think he has won the battles.

Cuddles is not going to go to Hutch. He has a 1% chance of going. He needs to grow 8 inches of tail feathers between now and Friday to go.

I should just give up and put him into the breeding pen......But I hate to see the new feathers damaged if he has a chance of going to New Ulm.

What time is everyone coming to Hutch other than Friday?
I am coming around noon on Saturday and staying until around 4 or 5. From there we are going to the Bar for supper and then a relatives for the night, then we are coming back Sunday morning possibly. Depending on if any of the birds I am buying Rick is showing.

We had snow this weekend but it didn't stay. Next week we are getting some and I think it will stay.

I plan to do the banquet and spend a night in a motel then pick up birds Sunday and leave.

I have read, written, drank coffee, napped, watched news..

I have done this cycle a couple times while feeling guilty I have not been to Menard's yet.
