MN yes. No south windows, the chickens would blow away if we had south windows here. Most the wind out here on the prairie comes from the south or southwest. Not great for light but the north windows keep it ventilated but not drafty.

Do you have high ventilation? if so, I think i'd shut the windows then and use just high vents.
The wind has been from the south and southwest the last few days here as well, it is turning cold and from the North tonight though... brrrr..

This could be Ralphie at Hutch when he looses to one of his own birds .

This is what it's like here too. And windy. First winter day and I'm already rethinking my coop and run design. Is this how it works, chickeners? Always tinkering, fixing, advancing?
