Surviving Minnesota!

If you go to jail for drowning varmints I would have been in jail about 10 years ago. My grandma and I always trapped to chipmunks and squirrels at the lake house and put the trap in the lake for a little while and they were in no time. I bet I have drown over 100 of those things.

I tried to find it but could not find the details . I remember from back when it happened . My memory says the physiological changes were the same as euthanasia so humane .

edit to add big chess game . Anti people trying to outlaw trapping and trapping trying to keep markets open .
Thanks.

Plus they are quieter than guineas .

This (poster) is exactly what I was talking about before haha! I love them, and will always think they are cute! Sadly though, a possum is the only thing I've ever hit with my car :hit*knock on wood*

I had an owl kill one of my buckeye roosters last week after I just recently said on here I hadn't lost anything recently. I went down to close them up at about 8ish, and I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye, convinced myself quickly it was nothing (that's how I manage to not get scared in the dark outside, by telling myself nothing is there haha), then saw a large bird take off over the roof. I didn't see any dead chickens until morning. I didn't think it got anything because the rest were inside. I'm wondering if it went in and grabbed one out. I've been leaving work early to shut them up by 4:40 until yesterday. Hopefully it's decided there must not be any left and leaves them alone. I'm conflicted because raptors are my favorite animals, but I sure don't appreciate it when they eat MY chickens. I do enough work transporting injured ones to the Raptor Center in St. Paul, I'd appreciate it if they left my stuff alone in return :lau

The dim bulbs in this world make life less enjoyable for what I call people of at least normal intelligence.
I recently released a Great Horned Owl that killed and ate part of one of my race pigeons.
I would not do so again, as it is now preying on song birds at my bird feeder.
I absolutely detest hawks !! I would not kill one but would do anything possible to make it aware it must leave the area.

I believe the post office will gladly deliver a bird of Prey to Peoria.

I caught a mouse once years ago with my hand, and quickly dunked in a bucket of water and held it until it quit struggling :sick

Ok here is an extremely dumb question.... Could someone make a laced Silkie? Like a Silver Laced? I know it wouldn't really be laced...
