Surviving Minnesota!

Do you supplement your water sometimes Erli? Like with a vitamin/electrolyte powder? I’ve been doing it once a week this winter. My birds have been doing pretty good on it. I think calcium requires another element (or trace mineral) to process up. Idk if I read that some where or what. Or is it vitamin D that needs something... maybe I’m thinking that...

Vitamin D helps people absorb calcium. Maybe it does for chickens, too?

I suspect that I will be the first post of the day. Many others are ahead of us. I wish that some were up earlier to share entertaining prose. It is cold by the big lake and the next many days seem to be a temperature set back. That is what I have to endure here North of the Minnesota Banana Belt. The birds don't seem to mind as much as I do.

Usually it's ACV in the water sometimes the B complex but not very often, I should do it more.
It seems like it started when it was bitterly cold. We definitely need more sunshine, vit D.

Good morning Early risers (Erli, Bobbi and menfolk that can’t sleep)

So trying to get all these appointments done for kids, dog, etc. I got two done last week amongst work and BB chaos. Now DD wants to get to chiropractor. Her adjustments do help with her stomach reflux. It’s weird but it does work.
Thank goodness my job is flexible in the winter.

Holms you are obviously fishing at Lake WishUKnew.
I bought Sadie Mae two beef soup bones this weekend. She is making short work of the marrow and bone mesh inside. Her teeth are as white as can be which is why I get her those. Plus the winter boredom busting effects. She’s very content since Saturday night.

Dear Family returned from Iowa with family stories and good memories made on the road and in the hotel/swimming in the cement pond, etc. etc.

-4 F today. I must be careful with plastic water founts again.
