Snow coming tonight and off and on through Wednesday . Total predicted 7 inches . Yes it is still winter .

I have just caught up with reading posts, as I have not been on since Wed. morning.
Had an illness which resulted in multiple lapses in consciousness and several falls. Unfortunately most of the landings were on my face, so I now look like I was in three bar brawls and lost them all badly. I don't understand but my wife does not wish to be seen in public with me at this time ?!
The weather is not very good and appears to be continuing that way for the forseeable future.
Jerry, I believe the Mullberry project may not be workable up here except near the shore of the big lake. It is zone 4 there. Perhaps you could swap your property for some on the big lake and fish for trout and salmon ?
Ralphie, if those are the chicks in your basement I understand the concerns of your Mrs. I think the woman is so lucky to be a part of all of your endeavors. How is the run for office going? Is Judy enthused about that adventure ?

Not really planning to bring any north . I want the improved ones here for me and the chickens . Just expanding my plantings for chicken feed . I know a guy that planted grapes near the chickens . Lets the chickens free range when the grapes are ripe .

Another 12 above feels like 20 below day. New snow, 40 mph winds....feeling like a good old fashioned winter.

I have 1 egg not frozen today, at least it'a a PC egg. I hope it is still viable.
