I am awake and boiling sap already,

DH woke me up at 2 am because the moon looked weird and I couldn’t get back to sleep

I cannot imagine the pain I would be in if I woke the WW to look at the moon at 2am.

Morning . It was 21 when I got up . Going for 50 or so .

I did not check the temp when I got up, but I did go out and throw a chunk of ice out of my sap..(the cheapest way to distill sap is let the water freeze )


It is only 30 right now. Instead of cleaning in the house (orders from the WW) I should be out dumping sap buckets and throwing ice out...
