I have raised Red Rangers. I like them. I haven't actually butchered any yet, though. I got some last spring. A mink killed all the cockerels. The pullets were the first to lay in the fall, laid most through the winter and were the first to start laying regularly this spring. As long as they don't show any signs of ill health or injury, I'm going to keep them around as long as I can. I think they're much easier to raise than Cornish X.

They also have a lower ratio of white to dark meat.. which is why I added them to the toads.

Keep it in the box when you use it. I have piece of syrofoam under it... keeps temps stabler..,. it's room temp setting is important too

I have quail eggs in mine right now. I just keep it in my most stable temperature room and it works great.
Last year I hatched Bresse & Mosaic eggs. I had great hatch rates with it.

I do take the Turner out before hatch and add paper towels as a better surface for them to stand on.

Next to my home made one, it's my favorite. I'd like a cabinet one eventually, but I doubt my husband will ever go for it. He doesn't understand the bird obsession.

Appears to be sometime of user error on the weather bug,,,,

I did fine with the foamies. However, moisture was a problem for me. I had to drill a hole so I could put a tube in to add water without taking the cover off.

Removing the cover screws with the moisture, so try not too.
