Never get a cat from the used car salesman near DL!!!

A week ago I took it to the vet to have surgery to stop her from breaking into pieces.

I was told she could not be outside in the cold we had then by the vet.

I set her up a little cage and litter box in the house... more than a few days have passed, the cold is gone.. the cat is not.

It appears she has no desire to ever be an outside cat again. We tried to kick her out last night. She successfully thwarted our attempts.

I remember the used cat salesman saying these cats hate being inside.... do not trust him!!!

Hi all!
Just found this great thread, we’re about an hr north of mn so I can appreciate your weather woes:)
Someone elsewhere said “why don’t you free range your birds year round?” ......:View attachment 2010602
Welcome to our thread...

It’s so great to have another VWNer with us.
I spent 5 years in your neck of the woods (rural Grand Maria’s) area.

It is no mystery to me why you can’t free range year round. Besides the snow there are about 431 varieties of chicken eating critters in your area..

Which direction are you from TB?
It’s been years since I have been up there. We use to have friends we would visit up there but over the years we drifted apart.

I generally tell people I’m from, and in, TB, though I’m technically 15 min north - and our weather is quite different!
We’re just far enough from the big pond that we get hotter summers, colder winters, and about twice, no, three times the snow.
I have shovelled a total of 4feet of snow off the coop roof this winter, and expect to do it twice more before all’s said and done.
