Surviving Minnesota!

They are just stunning. Love those birdies. We are still waiting on Mr. Oriole and humming bird too. Got a Yellow Warbler. And with the return of the cold I think we got juncos again. We have dandelions. Popples are dangling pretty little green coin sized leaves. Love that color. But the sky now is gray mush clouds. A bit of a rain this afternoon. Pretty weak though. Hopefully those catkins and flower pollen drops off and mutes the allergies.
 
We put the hummingbird feeder out last week..

We normally get orchard orioles, but look what was here about 10 minutes ago.

Well cob or stucco would certainly make all the difference.
I like the look of traditional wood coop that matches the big barn and paned glass windows for cocka doodle doo sunrises.
I love that! So storybook! I don't think cob would work very well here though, not with the wind-driven rain and snow. Can you stucco over the top of it?
