I got some sideways rain yesterday for about 5 minutes. I am not sure that any of it actually made it to the ground.

We have had rain showing on the radar, but it’s virga.

I got it because it will grow on oak . I have lots of oak to try it on . I don't have any 5 mile hikes left in this body . So I will try growing .

We've got rain predicted for the foreseeable future. Don't really need it, but at least it's not snow. Maybe it will come to ya'll MN peeps next. Hope so.

I have a wren nesting in my birdhouse and a Carolina wren nest atop a deck post . Easy to tell as the Carolina likes to use moss in its nest .

Hiya Minnesotans - I popped up on BYC a few years ago when we moved to our hobby farm-ish property in Anoka County. Then I got overwhelmed with life and dropped off. Just coming back on as we have finally gotten chicks.

Right now we have 9 ~5 week backyard mix chicks, 9 ~2 week ameraucana/maran chicks, and 3 silkie chicks less than a week old, and my husband wants to get some ducklings tomorrow. Jumping in with both feet this summer, I guess.

We are using our enclosed porch as a brooder. The biggest birds are currently separated from the younger ones. We have an old building being worked on by a mason that we will be using as a coop. Pics of that later, here are a few of our older birds.

No, idea where you are, but I desperately need rain.

North West of Duluth, we had a little rain, but it’s still dry and the rivers have really dropped the last week and a half or so. I would really appreciate a warm summer This year. Last year was a bit too cool for my garden.

Morning . Rainy day here . Flash flood warnings . I am on high ground . So Columbine and Dames Rocket are blooming . So how are the skeeters bad or no ? MN's other state bird . So Ralphie likes the post with geese ? Softie I thought you hated all waterfowl . Maybe only ducks .
