So yesterday we did groceries . Wanted some chicken wings . Frozen wing bin empty . I found fresh ones . So I repacked into 2 . Supply chain ? Anyway we are good on wings for the next month as we only have those maybe twice a month . Rain is over . Tired of rain and dark days .

Cold out, winter might be returning. 28 degrees.

This temp will feel good in 2 months.

Hey Ralphie I have a game camera out . Checked it once and saw 3 does in one pic but no bucks . I did have some pics between 1PM and 3 PM . Not sure if I am up to hunting but hopeful . I can drive to the camera but walking to the stand might be a no go .

So here are my nut gathering and hulling supplies . Board has 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 hole in it . I just knock it through the hole with the hammer . Nut drops in the bucket and stays on top mostly . Chestnut trees arrived . Plus headboard is assembled .

I let a buddy bow hunt, he got a good size doe last night. I prefer he takes does, because there's a deer problem around here. The forest preserves within 10miles hirer sharpshooters to thin them out.
Buddy retired to southern Illinois. His property backs up to the Shawnee forest. Since covid the deer have disappeared in his pasture. So he has to come back here to get a deer.

Nice looking headboard, I like bookcase headboards. Very handy
