I use a grabber to pick them up now . No crawling anymore . You know the reaching type grabber .

I have never used one. I never let my nuts hit the ground. The chickens peck them if they do.

It looks like it would work well with clean, dry, hard, small nuts on a short mowed lawn.

I'm wondering how well it would work with mine ...

I have never used one. I never let my nuts hit the ground. The chickens peck them if they do.

The only nuts around here are tree nuts.


The poultry like the WALNUTS when I mow them up and the worms that are in the husk.

The wooden handle of mine is bowed from putting pressure on it in situations like that. Does better in short grass and spread out nuts. If the nuts are touching it doesn't pick them up too well. Can stab them
