So yesterday after doctor visit we did a grocery run . No electric. carts available . So I got her electric scooter - chair out . I walked with a cart . Went well . I could not have walked that much a week ago .

I have a dog with Lyme disease . Cost me over $400 this past week . Ticks . Skeeters can give a dog heart worms . Then I battle flies and yellow jackets , wasps and hornets . Plus I got chigger bites mowing grass . Now deer flies . I am tired of bugs .

I may try this as I have a old white hard hat in the shed up north . A little blue paint .and some tanglefoot .

I have 4 hard hats but no blue... green with mesh face shield, purple from work, yellow I found in a river and a pink from work... Wonder if purple would work... Wonder if a different color works for mosquitoes, that would be great.

I have heard about the blue bucket for years but never tried it.

I like the solo cups idea. I am thinking of putting a “pole” on my boat about 6-7 ft above the deck, with a solo cup on it. I never could figure out what sticky stuff to put on it. I was told to use pine tar but did not want that in my boat.

I might have to find this tangle foot stuff.

The worst place for me is in the boat, the deer flies are nasty there.

I only worry about the deer flies. They attack in broad daylight.

I stay out of the swamps during mosquito season.
