I have a ton of milkweed. I had to disc some under, as it is taking over my rye field.

That's a good way to spread it. The root pieces make more plants.

I don’t mind spreading it as long as I have rye about 6 inches high in November.

My bees like the milk weed, and I might get some Biden dough for raising butterflies.

If you let that milkweed go to seed it will spread everywhere and you will not be able to get rid of. It is severely invasive.

I can send you more seeds than you could possibly want. It started here as a single plant and is everywhere now.

Probably does come up but we mow it off. I've tried throwing those seeds all around back there at the railroad ditch where we can't mow hoping they'd come up. Not a one ever does.

Different types grow well in different areas . Might try a different type

Morning . Tree frogs are singing at night . About time for katydids and cicadas to sing . I like the singing . So quiet at the lake at night . Forecast for next week is 90s all week . Good weather to jump in the lake or at least get your toes in the water . Bought blue paint and tanglefoot to make a hardhat deer fly trap . I could only find tanglefoot at a real garden store . So eBay may be a option for some of you .

So when the tangled foot is full, how do you clean it off? Just reapply over the flies?
