I was taken aback when somebody called me BC... I had been called BTC on another thread. BR is Blanch Ranch. not Barred Rock, here. LOL, etc.

So then what is a barred rock? Ohhhhh BPR. Sigh. . . . So what is a BC and I added BTC to the acronyms for your name. LOL. Learning so much!

Yeah there is usually some context to catch. I would say to try not and worry about it so much haha

Edit: a 'chanticleer' is a 12 voice men's ensemble

The problem writing it is the autocorrect hates "chantecler" Chauncy is Chanticleer......

FYI IMO the PC you refer to is beautiful! Yes! I would like a few hens. And they are from Quebec and that means French Canadian and I am FC (Add that to our list! - LOL)

Mine speak Near Ranger and not French. They were a little too far SE to speak pure ranger.

Ivie...and the Turkey folks have a whole other lanquage! We've established terms for various turkey temperments. We even have our own sports "Turkey Hen Wrestling" & "Turkey Hen Boxing". It sure can get complicated around BYC!
