What is he?? Or what is he suppose to be?![]()
He is Bubba the mutt! He was the fifth chick I ever hatched!!
Here is what I think . I think the judges in UK started placing winners of the light males . Competition and people are a bag of worms . Jill Rees was winning a lot . I think to consistently win silver was added to get winners .That Rees rooster is why I asked all those questions today. It did not look Cream legbar at all to me!!! Looked like some exotic crested Silver bird.

In this country we have breeds that must be bred for winning pullet or winning Cockerel lines . You can't get both from one pen . I always wondered why they did not change the standard . I have come to realize only a few know how to do this . Likely they helped write the standard . So they win . They will sell you winning birds of both sexes but you will not produce winners . A novices will not see the difference .
Mutts can be the coolest birds! Look at JJ some would call him a mutt. I call him special. Or even Mr T is a mutt. But look what we can do with his genetics.
They can be!! I am going to have to pm u. I found something bad today...
Not sure where they got 7 pounds . They sure did not use a scale to come up with it .Is this also the reason the SOP's have some of the weird things in it like a 7 pound rooster? If I put both of mine on the scale I might get 7 pounds.
