They all had Dixie Rainbows for mothers, which I assume means they could be anything. I cannot be sure they had the same Mothers or not, Bert Sr was there Daddy. I had 3 rainbows for Mommies.

I knew the females controlled the sex, and about the WZ. I still find it funny they did not all turn out barred or white and orange. They are nice birds though huge bodies and big thighs! I a thigh man, I love big thighs!

Well in that case they all should have got a barring gene from mom . So a case of who is momma or a genetic mutation . I once got a crested chick from lavender Ameraucana .

Bert Jr was the only one that was not barred. matter of fact all the boys with the exception of Bert Jr had a white dot on their heads. I thought I had stumbled on a sex linked meat bird, until Bert Jr popped out of his shell.

All the girls where all white with just a tad and I mean tad of orange.
