Well the details are coming back to me now. It is often hard to remember things once your pass 100. It was my understanding that you thought the Owl killed the bird, but another animal was attempting to eat it or carry it off?
In any case, I would be careful with the cat. It may have a taste for birds and/or you may end up with a double digit cat population there. They seem to multiply rapidly, but if you have Fishers in the vicinity they will work to keep the population in check.

I know, when I was under 100 I was way smarter. Of course it was all downhill after I was 17 and knew it all.....

We have no fisher here that I know of. BUT we lost our house cat to an eagle, so it could disappear. Next time I get it in a trap I will check and see if it is male or female... (hopefully I will still have my arms after this).

I'm on my third cup and finally have a minute to check in. It has been a struggle at work already this week. I was really hoping for calf pictures today. Bummer!

The weather man this morning said upper 30s this weekend! We will be out sunbathing if that is the case!

I am on my third cup too....

I saw that we were headed to a warm up, I am hoping to get a lot done.. Yesterday was nice, but I was froze to the core when I came in last night.
